Cops: Weather played role in 2 pedestrians accidents

Cops say the bad weather overnight appears to have played a role in at least one of two pedestrian accidents.

In the first accident, a man was hit by a Jeep in Wyandanch. Cops say the man, of Deer Park, was crossing Acorn Street near Straight Path road when he was hit. The driver of the Jeep says he couldn’t see after water from a puddle splashed over his windshield.

In the second, a woman was hit on Route 25A in Kings Park. Police say she was in the middle of the road when she was hit.
